Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life

Programs & Initiatives

OFSL partners with multiple campus partners to provide programming to students.  Annually, the office sponsors a training retreat for newly elected fraternity and sorority presidents and governing council officers.  The office also supports the programmatic efforts of governing councils during the week of Homecoming in the fall and Machy Days - the week leading up to Spring Jam.

The Greek Unity House is a Living Learning Community (LLC) located in the 17th Avenue Residence Hall for first-year students interested in joining a social fraternity or sorority.  Students explore how to join and are engage with current Greek student leaders and alumni through a variety of educational and social programs, all while building a community with others students in the LLC.

OFSL also provides support for two Greek honorary societies - Order of Omega, a leadership honorary society for all fraternity and sorority members, and Rho Lambda, the National Sorority Leadership Recognition Society.
