Over half of the community’s fraternities and sororities have chapter facilities. These facilities are generally privately owned and operated by House Corporation Boards and located off-campus along University Avenue, in the Dinkytown and Marcy-Holmes neighborhoods and near the St. Paul campus. Any questions or concerns related to billing or facility upkeep should be directed to the individual chapter and their House Corporation Board; our office is happy to facilitate the process of connecting you with those individuals.
OFSL also sponsors multiple living-learning communities for first-year students interested in joining a fraternity and sorority, with locations in the 17th Avenue Residence Hall in Minneapolis and Bailey Hall in St. Paul.
Though joining an organization is not a requirement to continue living in an OFSL-sponsored LLC, students are expected to participate in at least one council’s recruitment and/or intake process.
