Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life

Housing

Over half of the community’s fraternities and sororities have chapter facilities.  These facilities are generally privately owned and operated by House Corporation Boards and located off-campus along University Avenue, in the Dinkytown and Marcy-Holmes neighborhoods and near the St. Paul campus.  Any questions or concerns related to billing or facility upkeep should be directed to the individual chapter and their House Corporation Board; our office is happy to facilitate the process of connecting you with those individuals.

OFSL also sponsors the Greek Unity House, a living-learning community for first-year students interested in joining a fraternity and sorority, with locations in the 17th Avenue Residence Hall in Minneapolis and Bailey Hall in St. Paul.  Though joining an organization is not a requirement to continue living in the Greek Unity House LLC, students are expected to participate in at least one council’s recruitment and/or intake process.
